How to take the test Suggestions:

1. Eliminate 2 of the 4 answers if possible.
2. Technical Questions - Usually the longest answer.
3. Read the question and answer carefully - the key words in the question will point to the correct answer.
4. Select "C" as the answer. ( a joke )
5. Memorize only the correct answers.
6. Go to HamStudy.org and setup a user name and password
7. Find the practice test for the license of interest and take the test frequently. You can select the subsets of tests if you are having problems in a given area.
8. Go to the FCC Universal License Site setup a login and password to get an FRN number assigned to you. Also go to the CORES site and setup a login.
   Note: The Passwords for both sites need to be the same so they can be associated to each other. The password includes an Uppercase letter, Lowercase letter, a number and a punctuations character and must be 12 to 15 character in length. The CORES site has this description.
9. The take the test there will to a charge of $14 to $15. If you pass the test, the FCC will want $35 to be paid using CORE site. Only use a Desk Top or Laptop Computer. If you use a phone or table, they will take your money be you will not get a call sign/license.
10. You can use you-tube and other sources for studying for the test.
