Join us for an in-person FCC amateur radio exam session hosted at BYU–Idaho, sponsored by the W5YI Volunteer Examiner Coordinator (VEC). This session is part of our Student Pilot Program, but anyone with an interest in getting licensed is invited to register.
What You Need to Know ✅ Pre-registration is preferred as it makes things easier.
📜 ID Requirements: Bring a valid photo ID (Driver's license and student ID's are valid).
FCC FRN Number: If you don't have one yet, follow these instructions: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/html/Register_New_FRN.htm
💵 Exam Fee: $14 USD — (Students get fees waived)
📄 Upgrading? Bring a copy (printed or digital) of your current license.
