Sunday Night Net

The Sunday Night Net has a VE Test session the forth Saturday of each month of the year except for December. We meet at 1800 hours (6 PM EST) at the Union Springs Baptist Church, 5911 Levi Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415. Enter on through the door on the side of the church by the covered patio.

We do electronic testing using the Exam Tools software and currently utilize Android tablets to administer the test. Grading is done by the software. All is handled electronically and sent to the ARRL VEC and they forward your results to the FCC.

The FCC will contact you via your email address and you will pay them $35. They will then issue you a license, good for 10 years. If you are upgrading, there are no additional fees. They give you 10 days to respond, and if you do not respond, the FCC will not send another email and your results will have to be re-submitted to the FCC.
