Las Vegas Area Amateur Radio License Exam Information
Exams are conducted on the fourth Saturday of each month at 2:00 PM. Please arrive no earlier than 1:30 PM, as the team needs time to prepare and assist with paperwork.
What to Bring
- Exam Fee: $15
- Identification: A picture ID with your signature (e.g., driver’s license or student ID)
- CSCE or Previous License Credit: Bring the original and a photocopy for submission with your exam results
- Reinstating an Expired License: Provide proof of your old call sign and license class (including a copy for submission). Contact the exam team leader for assistance in locating this proof.
- Calculator: Allowed if its memory can be cleared before the exam. Calculators within PDAs or cell phones are not permitted.
- Laptop or Tablet: You may use a personal device, but it must be cleared with the VE Team. If you don’t have one, a device may be provided for your use.
