Amateur Radio License Exam Registration
The ONLINE exam session happens over Zoom. Applicants are tested one at a time and you may be asked to join at scheduled times during the exam session.
The San Diego VE Team strives to make your exam be stress free and efficient, in a friendly, positive environment.
Exam fee is $5 paid via online (You will recieve a payment link with your registration). Some populations may qualify for a fee waiver.
You are allowed to take multiple exam elements. When you register, you will be able to indicate the exams you wish take.
You will need the following:
- Stable internet connection
- Cell Phone, PC, MAC, Chromebook, Tablet with the Zoom Client installed and Webcam
- A second device may be needed if your primary webcam is not movable.
- Photo ID
Optional Items:
- Standard non-programable/non-graphing calculator or you can use your computers calculator.
- One sheet of scratch paper
