The exam session is also open to anybody wishing to take any class level Amateur Radio Exam:

The Charlotte Amateur Radio Society Exam Team is proud to support this effort and strives to make your exam be stress free and efficient, in a friendly, positive environment.

This is an IN-PERSON exam session starting at 5:00PM ET on the date of the scheduled session at the New Life Church, Room 13, located at 507 West Marion Avenue. Punta Gorda, FL 33950

The exam fee is $15.00 for adults, $5.00 for students payable by PayPal within 24 hours of registration. That one fee pays for one attempt at each of the three exam elements. If a candidate fails an element at an exam session and wants to re-test for the same element, an additional fee will be required. Our VE Team Webpage offers online payment and additional resources to help you prepare for your licensing in amateur radio.

You will need the following:

• Photo ID
• Copy of any CSCEs that have not processed the FCC ULS yet
• Exam fee paid in advance
• HamStudy PIN Number (issues at time of Registration)
• FCC FRN: Hamstudy should walk you through this process when you register.

We encourage you to bring your own laptop or tablet so the test taking expeience is comfortable and familiar.
