DFW Ham Expo - In-Person Exam

Exam Session is at the DFW Ham expo in the The Grand Stage event space in the Music City Mall, Lewisville, TX. Exam Applicants will receive free admission to the event. Tell the entrance table representative that you are here to take a test and they will direct you to the testing area in the back room of the facility.

Exam fee is $14 requested at the test session in Cash or check please. Please let me know if you are not able to make the session and have to drop, so I can free up the slot.

NEW FCC APPLICATION FEE: Effective 19 March, 2022 the FCC is implenting a new $35 application fee for all amateur license applications. This is in addition to the $14 fee the VEC charges. WE will collect the $14 VEC fee at the time of the exam (If you are taking the Denton Radio Club's Tecnician Class, this is included in the $25 class fee). You will pay the new $35 FCC application directly to the FCC. Once you pass your exam and we send your paperwork to the FCC, the FCC will send you an email with instructions on how to pay the $35 fee at their ULS website.

I recommend you take plenty of practice exams ahead of time. Hamstudy.Org "Study Mode" is a good way to prepare for the exam.
