In-Person Exam at Quartzfest Camp in Arizona 10AM MST/9AM PST

• Limited exam slots available.
• Exam may be on paper or via electronic device (tablet or laptop) depending on data connection conditions. Cellular data in this area is sometimes very slow. If we don't have good data speeds during the test we will use paper tests.
• Social distancing and masks required.

Candidates please bring the following items:

• A government photo ID (driver's license, military ID or passport)
• Your own chair, pen or pencil, basic calculator, clipboard, if you have them.
• Smart cell phone, tablet or iPad which may be used to take the exam, if paper is not used. We must have stable data connections to use electronic devices.

• Exam fees are waived for minors, students with a current ID, first responders, active military, veterans, and GLAARG VEs upgrading to Extra.
• All classes of exams are being offered. Order of exams are: Technician, General, Amateur Extra. Please make sure that you study for the correct exam. This session is for the exam only and not for the prep course.
• You can take more than one exam per session. We only ask that you have studied for that element and have been scoring at least 80% on practice tests.
• All communications will be sent to email used to register.
• See below link for payment information. If you are requesting a waiver of fees you must submit a form requesting the waiving of fees immediately after registration.
• If you are under age 13 you may not register for any exam session until your parent or guardian has filled out our COPPA Parental Consent Form and emailed it to coppa@examtools.org. Please send a courtesy copy to ham.license.exam@gmail.com.
• You will need a FCC registration number (FRN) before taking the test. If you don't have one you can get one at https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/support/universal-licensing-system-uls-resources/getting-fcc-registration-number-frn. The FRN will be issued right away. Be sure to keep the number in a safe place for future reference.
